So posting again so quickly is going to be rare but since I have internet I'm taking advantage of this opportunity. Currently, I am sitting in a little cafe in Montepulciano...on a balcony..overlooking the most beautiful view I have ever seen. I will never be able to properly describe the beauty that in this sweet little town... But I'll try.

Last night....

Since we were on our own for dinner last night my roomies and some other students decided to meet up to eat then go to the bar at the Garden. All the restaurants are tiny here so our party of 15 literally took up every single table in the restaurant we chose There was 1 waitress who spoke very little English and she was so incrediably nice. Not only did she have a genuine smile on her face at all times but she was so kind and patient with our awful brken Italian requests. It really made me realize how Americans take for granted the simplicities in life. Because here was a woman waiting on 15 Americans and 4 more tables outside...by herself..at 8 pm...and she had the most amazing attitude. She even split up the checks 6 ways and our bottles of wine. I was amazed because if that was asked in America the waitress probably do so with an attitude and expect a larger tip. In Italy it is not custom t tip and if you try they usually insist you take it back. They work because they care and are nice just because. I love it.

Vito!
Lina!
We then made our way down to the Garden but not before stopping a little restaurant, where we have become best friends with the owner, his wife and brother. Pino, Lina, and Vito were so enjoyable and generous. The gave us discounts just because they enjoyed our presence and taught us some Italian.
We plan to go there every night.

The Garden...was so so so much fun.

Today...
We slept in because today was really our only chance. We then had a late lunch at Pino and Lina's ristorante..were we ate the best and biggest MargArita pizza and French fries..only for 5 euros because Pino is amazing!!

We'll Ive got to start on my homework..our first day of class tomorrow!

Ciao!
